[Details About HP Spectre X360 13]
The HP Spectre X360 13 gives Psychology students a portable device equipped with a premium screen, keyboard, and touchpad. but the battery does not last the entire day and better hardware specs can be found at a similar price. Covered in an aluminum chassis, the HP Spectre X360 looks refined with its sharp gem-cut style edges. It is very lightweight and thin, but it is still sturdy and durable. Having survived hour-tested drops and scratches.
When you open up this laptop you will find a 13.3-inch 4k OLED touchscreen display. It has thin side bezels and nearly perfect color accuracy. The brightness is also great for indoor and outdoor use, but what is most impressive is its 360-degree turning hinge which can quickly convert the laptop into a tablet.
Below that is an edge-to-edge keyboard with large well-spaced backlit keys. We found typing to be a very comfortable and snappy experience. The touchpad is also decently sized and smooth to use. Even within such a compact size, the Spectre X360 manages to provide premium quality throughout without compromise.
Running on a decent intel graphics chip a fantastic Intel i7 11th gen processor, and 16 Gigabytes of RAM the Spectre X360 proves itself as a competent machine. Students can expect Pycharm, Rstudio, and MySQL to run fantastic on the Spectre X360’s 4k resolution. This laptop runs heavy CPU-intensive tasks with ease. Such as heavy writing workloads and online browsing.
You can also expect gaming to run with little issue, but newer aaa titles will no doubt lag to the point of being unplayable. Still, the Spectre X360 promises smooth performance for tasks that are not too demanding. The Spectre X360 offers a lot of premium features but at the cost of a mediocre battery.
Providing 6 hours and 10 minutes of battery life while playing Full HD videos non-stop. Although it only took us 1 hour and 10 minutes to fully charge the battery to 100%. While the battery isn’t the worst if you find yourself without a charger heavy workload will quickly drain the life out of this laptop.
The Spectre X360 has a standard 720p webcam, but it is capable of infrared for Windows Hello face authentication. However, for its thin and lightweight design, its port selection is quite decent. It comes with two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, a MicroSD card reader, and a headphone jack. All USB-C ports are compatible with Thunderbolt 4. So, transfer speeds are fast.
Networking is also up to date with Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 6. Students who want an easy-to-carry laptop with a premium screen, and an extensive selection of ports will appreciate completing psychology work with the Spectre X360, but its battery life and hardware specs aren’t the best for the price that you pay.
